Does your business have a Continuity Plan?  Did you know that every  year 1 in 5 organizations will experience a disaster such as fire, flood, storm, power failure, terrorism, or IT failure?

After such an event:

  • 43% will never re-open
  • 80% will fail within 13 months
  • 53% of claimants never recoup the losses caused by the disaster
  • 90% of businesses that lose data from a disaster are forced to shut down within two years

Click the following links for planning tips:

Continuity Planning : Carefully assess how your business functions, both internally and externally.

Emergency Planning : Your employees and co-workers are your business's most important and valuable asset.

Emergency Supplies : Think first about the basics of survival: fresh water, food, clean air and warmth.

Deciding to Stay or Go :Shelter-in-place or evacuate, plan for both possibilities.

Fire Safety : Fire is the most common of all business disasters.

Medical Emergencies : Take steps that give you the upper hand in responding to medical emergencies.
