Lead Safe Living

The Division of Environment’s Childhood Lead Poisoning and Prevention Program is at the forefront of increasing awareness of childhood lead poisoning to the Greater Cleveland Population.  Our mission is to eliminate childhood lead poisoning as a public health issue in the City of Cleveland.  We strive to ensure that families with small children, pregnant women, lead industry workers, and home renovation workers are empowered with knowledge to prevent childhood lead poisoning.
